RECOMANACIONS

Us voldria recomanar la pel·lícula "Mr Holland's opus". Tracta de la vida de Glenn Holland, un músic i compositor que treballa de professor per pagar el lloguer i en el seu temps lliure vol aconseguir el seu veritable objectiu: composar una peça de música memorable que deixi la seva empremta al món. Holland descobreix que la vida és quelcom que et passa mentre estàs ocupat fent altres plans. Podreu comprovar com amb els anys comparteix amb alegria la seva contagiosa passió per la música amb els seus estudiants, i comença la seva nova definició d'èxit.

SANT FRANCESC

En referència a l'entrada anomenada MOTIVACIÓ, us deixo la lletra de la cançó de la Susan Boyle, i l'explicació de posar aquesta cançó en concret.

Al segle XIII hi va haver un home que es deia Francesco i anomenem a la ciutat de San Francisco per aquest petit monjo. Es va desfer de totes les seves possessions i ens va deixar un missatge. Francesco, que més endavant se'l va conèixer com a Sant Francesc d'Assís. La Susan Boyle canta les paraules d'aquest home. Ens podem connectar amb aquests missatges. Paraules que són molt poderoses:

Fés-me un instrument de la teva pau

on hi ha odi, porta amor

on hi ha dany, perdó

on hi ha desesperació, esperança

on hi ha tristor, alegria.

No és una pregària, no és una declaració religiosa, és una tecnologia esplèndida per ensenyar-nos a atreure la presència d'una intel·ligència divina, superior, espiritual. Organitzant la intel·ligència davant de cada energia d'odi, ira, por, preocupació. I la necessitem en el món més del que s'hagi necessitat mai.

La següent versió de la pregrària va ser entregada per la Mare Teresa quan es va adreçar a les Nacions Unides l'any 1985:

Make us worthy Lord to serve our fellow men throughout the world,

who live and die in poverty and hunger.

Give them through our hands, this day, their daily bread

and by our understanding love give peace and joy.

La mare Teresa de Calcuta la va fer important quan va rebre el premi Nobel de la pau a Oslo l'any 1979 i va demanar si podia recitar-la. L'octubre de 1995 el president Bill Clinton la va citar en el seu discurs de benvinguda al Papa Joan Pau II a la seva arribada a Nova York. La versió en forma d'himne va ser també present al funeral de Diana, princesa de Gal·les, el 6 de setembre de 1997.
